I went to a county health clinic this morning that was offering the H1N1 vaccine. I got up on time, caught the right bus, walked to the building where it was held, only to discover that that and all future H1N1 vaccination clinics had been canceled until further notice.  Frustration! But it reminded me of an news story that told of the reason for the H1N1 shortage, so I thought I would post it.


My interview at the University of Iowa is this coming Wednesday! I’m excited. Now I need to brush up on the medical world current events and know the best way to articulate my opinion on them.

So I’m finally joining the blogosphere. I thought that I might have something interesting to comment about in life. I am currently an undergraduate student majoring in music and am in the process of applying to medical school. I’m planning to write posts about being a student, a young adult, a med school applicant, and (hopefully) a medical student at some time in the future.
